| Pumpability is the Australian and New Zealand representative of the French company PCM Pompes. PCM is the original manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and was started by Dr. Moineau, the inventor of the pump, in 1932. Since that time PCM has developed a wide range of progressing cavity pumps up to 500 m3/h capacity or up to 200 bar discharge pressure for many applications across a great variety of industries. The pumps are of robust construction for continuous industrial applications and when properly applied have very high levels of reliability and availability. | |||||

Hygienic versions
of the PCM progressing cavity pump feature a flexi-shaft of a special
highly elastic stainless steel that does not require any coating for corrosion
protection, eliminating the possibility of coating separation and contamination.
Single piece shafts and rotors or special joining procedures eliminate
or minimise potential contamination sites within the pump. |

|
Because of their
ideal application to low flows and high heads, as well as their ability
at slow speeds to handle abrasive products, progressing cavity pumps are
often used in mine dewatering applications. |
